Whose aim is having fun,
And most result in some wreckage
When all is said and done.
Birthday parties are festive,
No matter how old you are --
Balloons, games, and fairy cake
Or movie and cocktail bar.
Attending a concert with besties
Is a party without all the frills;
Ice cream or mixed drinks post-show
Can add to the overall thrills.
Some baked potatoes and board games
Can make for a sporting soiree.
And dancing to tunes is a shindig,
Especially with a DJ.
There are boisterous bashes and blowouts
And parties where less fuss is more--
Just celebrate freely and fully,
And don't end with cops at the door.
