The road less traveled
Has bumps and craters,
Rough patches, detours,
And risk indicators.
But it's still the prime choice.
There'll be blessings throughout--
And peace for the journey
When taking this route.
Though trying at times--
And your nerves may wear thin--
This rare expedition
Holds beauty within.
And though unforeseen
It's incursions may be,
It's still the best road
That you ever will see--
'Cause Jesus goes with you,
And He'll steer you away
From smooth-seeming roads
That would lead you astray.
For you will find courage,
Your peace will increase,
And you'll rock the road--
For His mercies won't cease.
