Scrappy Saturday: Card Creations

Over the years I've made lots of cards for friends and family members--I actually started when I was a kid and still enjoy the process. I like to leave my kids special cards (we have a family message center) once in a while to express my love to them and encourage them. Sometimes I have an idea of my own, and sometimes I find ideas online. The elephant card I recently made for my daughter, Kalina, is from an idea I found on Pinterest. But I gave it my own "personality."The body and head are from some old dictionary pages. The elephant is Kalina's favorite animal, so it was a lot of fun to make it for her. I plan to design some more crafty cards in the near future. Scraps can be such treasures!
