So I've Started a Blog

Now that my blog is officially open, I find myself at a loss for words. There are many things that are of great importance to me, many things I could write about. I guess it all should begin with my parents. My parents were writers. It was a way of life, a habit as normal and regular as changing one's socks. They wrote out of their experiences, their faith, and their deeply-rooted desires. In honor of them, I can do no less. They are in Heaven now with the Lord--and they're all waiting to see how I will use my gift with words. There will be much to say, but today just let me say this: My parents taught me to work hard and appreciate the simple things in life; they valued creativity and humor; they were my biggest fans.
