Is never fully true
Unless you have a friend
To share the moment with you—
To listen to your happenings
And relate their own affairs;
To laugh at your funny quips,
While you in turn laugh at theirs.
You talk about your families
And how fast time goes by.
There may be great excitement;
You both may even cry.
Whatever the interlude holds,
It's better than message or phone—
A coffee cup of joy
Cannot be drunk alone.
