Go Dream Big

I know it's time for you to go, 

And even though it pains me so,

I tell you now, with all my love:

Be now below; be not above—

Don't be undervalued but willing to be taught.

Don't act "better than;" be thankful for what you've got.

Your worth is priceless—no dispute—

But keep your footsteps humble. 

Be wary of associates

Who would likely cause you to stumble.

Don't feel you have to wear a "disguise."

A mustache, wig, or cloak

Is only for fun and games, 

And you are not a joke.

Go forth and be yourself.

Don't ever give up on your dreams.

They're in your heart for a reason—

Like radiant destiny beams.

Don't follow my example,

Where fear has taken hold

And failure to launch held me back;

That's not how your life will unfold.

Go be a victorious warrior.

Go follow God's blueprinted path. 

Go take chances (with wisdom). Be bold.

You're more than mere plaster and lath.

God's built you to house His Spirit.

He insists He will stay by your side.

My dear child, go dream big!

The world's waiting—

And it's going to be a wild ride.
